Windows Phone 7.5 launched in India by Microsoft is latest version of Windows Phone operating system, in India.

Windows Phone 7.5 from Microsoft is also known as Mango. The highlighting point of Windows Phone 7.5 is that it helps the users to speedily hit upon the information required and connect.

HTC another Handset giant is also in the process of launching phones based on Windows Phone 7.5. At the same time Samsung is also launching handsets based on Windows 7.5.  Acer and Nokia will follow soon.

Vikas Arora, Group Director - Operator Channel, Microsoft, said, "Windows Phone is for people who are ready for a new phone experience, one that brings together the things you care about in a way that uniquely represents who you really are - whether at work or play."

The advantage with these phones is that in Windows Phone 7.5, you will see Live Tiles on the start screen instead of the application icons in Windows Phone 7.5. The user can easily create the Live Tiles from whatever content a consumer wants, for applications, websites and music.

Windows Phone 7.5 is coming pre-loaded with Xbox LIVE and Windows Phone Office
