iTwin Identical USB Drives
Lux Anantharaman an Indian has created a history by innovating a pair of identical USB Drives along with his friend Kal Takru. Both are colleagues in Singapore based company A*STAR. iTwin was developed in Singapore by the duo and was launched earlier on 10/10/10. However the commercial launch of iTwin is slated in 2012 at US and European markets. iTwin will also be launched in India soon as the team is looking for distributors for iTwin in India.
iTwin offers unique remote accessing a PC by using this pair of innovative USB drives. iTwin is very user friendly and does not require complex softwares to use as compared to other similar devices like Dropbox and Sugarsync. They are also free to use but to a certain limit of 2GB and paid afterwards.
Chennai born Anantharaman is an IIT Madras Alumni and passed out in 1994. He post graduated from Indian Institute of Science bangalore.Whereas Kal Takru is originally from Dehradun and have studied in Singapore. The name of the device iTwin came in Anantharaman's mind from the Identical Twins. He has a Twin brother and they are Identical Twins.
How to use iTwin
The usage of iTwin is very simple. You need to connect the Twin USB device to your PC which you want to access. Then specify the files that you want to share. After this just detach the other half of the iTwin device and insert the detached half of the device into the USB port of any other PC. Then you can access and transfer the required files over secured internet.
iTwin will become a revolution as it is user friendly and the cost of iTwin will be around Rs 5000. With iTwin USB device you would be able to share data exclusively and will let you access the hard disk of your computer from anywhere in the world. You simply need to insert one USB drive in your home PC and carry the identical other USB drive with you.
