Very soon you will see Sony launching number of new generation gadgets in the very fast growing Indian market. Sony has already launched its first tablet PC in India and the Electronic consumer device maker has now unveiled SONY 3G tablets. The 3G Tablets by Sony will be available in India from January 2012..
Sony’s PC tablets support Wi-Fi connectivity. However Sony’s 3G Tablets support both 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi. With the launch of 3G Tablets Sony is expecting its contribution to 80 per cent to the total tablet sales of Sony.
Sony PC tablets which were launched earlier are Wi-Fi-enabled tablets, S and P models. The PC Tablets from Sony are based on Android platform and the starting of Sony’s PC Tablet is from Rs 29,990.
Tablet P from Sony is available with 3G version and is the first tablet that has a dual screen which can also be folded. The dual screen of Sony Tablet P can be used as single or for dual functions. The starting price of Sony Tablet P is Rs 36,990.
Sony 3 G Tablets are compatible with DLNA that allows the users to connect their tablet with other DLNA supporting devices.
The advantage of DLNA in Sony 3G Tablets is that it provides features like watching movies available in the tablet on a DLNA compatible TV. The technology also provides other features like listening to music on speakers supporting DLNA technology within premise of a user.
Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P are available across number of stores in India.
